5.) Bill Baggs Cape Capital State Park

This beautiful beach not only offers the mile long white, sandy beaches but it also offers a selection of locations for a wedding that will not soon be forgotten. In Bill Baggs Cape, you can choose to marry right on the beach, with the sand squishing between your toes, on one of the fishing pavilions that also have covered platforms, or in front of the Cape Florida Lighthouse, which is a historical landmark. The beach also offers hammocks for lying around in and relaxing after the ceremony or for those great photo ops!

4.) Crescent Beach

This beach is only for those that are looking for the whitest sand of the finest quality. It’s true that most of the beaches in Florida can claim that they have white, glistening sand but Crescent Beach is the only one that has actual documentation to back up its claim. The Great International Sand Challenge not only honoured Crescent Beach with the title of the whitest sands in Florida, but in the entire world! This beach has a funkier, more artisan atmosphere and who couldn’t use a bit of funkiness in their beach wedding?

3.) Bahia Honda State Park

This wonderful setting will provide you with its own wedding decorations. At an impressive 524 acres, this park is filled with corals, palm trees, tiger lilies and sea lavender. There’s also no need for wedding music. The many blue herons, gulls, egrets, and pelicans will provide all the melody you need. It is here that you can also choose to marry right on the beach or to take the ceremony to the beautiful Old Bahia Honda Bridge, which has phenomenal views.

2.) Marco Island

This beach is for those who want to add a true sense of Florida to their wedding. Marco Island is shaped like a crescent, is four miles long, and has great access to the Everglades. But don’t only look along the shell-lined shore for natural beauty on this beach, also look to the water. It is here that you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of dolphins jumping up and playing in the magnificent waters.

1.) Lovers Key State Park

This location is number one simply for its popularity. Thousands of people have been finding Lovers Key as the best location for their beach wedding. So much so in fact, that a gazebo was built to add to the ambience of exchanging vows. And this beautiful park ups the romantic ante even further. There are two beaches that can be used for a wedding and each one is only accessible by way of a tractor-pulled tram.
