5. Florida Aquarium

For something really different, the Florida Aquarium, located in Tampa, is a wonderful Florida location for your wedding. You’ll definitely be able to fit everyone in, as this grand space can hold up to 3,000 people at one time. And your guests will be delighted to have the marvelous sights of the aquarium as a backdrop for your ceremony. Hold the ceremony in front of the 500,000 gallon coral reef display, or choose from another one of their many fabulous displays!

4. Historic Gazebo

If you’re looking to get away from the popular white sand ceremonies and resort weddings, there is the Historic Gazebo in South St. Petersburg. Built in the Gatsby era, you will truly feel as though your wedding has been moved back in time to one of the most romantic times in history! The immaculate grounds include banyan trees, statues, decks, a pool, and a pergola. Any of these would provide perfect backgrounds for pictures for your perfect wedding!

3. “Inspiration”

For an intimate gathering of six, get married while aboard the Catalina “Inspiration.” This is a two hour evening cruise that will take you right through sunset, providing for one of the most romantic atmospheres there is! When using the Catalina as your wedding locale, you can choose to get married on the beach, or right on the boat. The cruise comes with either option.

2. Treasure Island

Treasure Island, located just minutes from St. Petersburg, is a wonderful place to host a wedding. You can choose to get married right on the beach, which stretches on for three miles, or you can instead opt to become wed in one of the many fabulous beachside resorts or hotels.

1. Englewood Beach

Englewood Beach is not only the number one spot in Florida to get married, it can be considered number one in the country! It is here that you can create your own personal combination of all of the many wedding choices listed above. Have the ceremony right in the red gazebo, which is famous for holding wedding ceremonies, or choose the green gazebo, which is also famous and can hold a smaller party for a more intimate setting. Both have breathtaking views of perfectly manicured landscaping and the glistening ocean.
