Tips to keep your bridal bouquets fresh throughout
the wedding
Fresh flower Wedding Bouquets add to the beauty of
the bride on her wedding day and months are spent in choosing the
flowers and planning for the wedding bouquets. But most brides lose
heart when the thought of keeping the flowers fresh on the wedding
day comes to their minds. Slightly wilted flowers due to extreme
refrigeration or hot weather act as real spoilers on a day when
emotional stress levels are already high. Here are some tips you can
use to keep your wedding bouquet flowers from appearing wilted on
that very special day:
1. Choose sturdy flowers as opposed to delicate
ones. Lilies, Roses, Gladioli, Orchids, Bird of paradise etc. are
tough flowers and make a good choice for wedding bouquets.
2. If you have more delicate flowers like
stephanotis and gardenias, keep them watered with water tube hidden
inside the bouquets with ribbon. Your flowers will stay fresh
throughout the wedding.
3. Try to keep bouquets in normal room temperatures
or slightly cooler ones. Transferring them to very cold to a hot
temperature will cause them to wilt quickly.
4. Sealant sprays are useful in keeping the moisture
of the flowers intact. Spray the bouquets with a sealant after they
are ready to keep them in the same condition for a long time.
