Leaf Wedding Theme
Leaves are the perfect theme for planning a
nature-inspired Spring or an Autumn wedding.
Decorating Ideas
Fresh or artificial leafy vines with a few
wildflowers or none at all if it is a fall wedding, are a great way to decorate the fronts of long tables and
are perfect for draping along the top of a wall with some light
colored fabric and twinkling lights. Low vases filled with real
potted pants or fake greenery will make stunning centerpieces.
Choose plants that are 'overflowing'.
Small leaf hairclips can be attached to a fabric
napkin ring for a nice accent on the table. Large potted plants and
fake trees placed in the corners of the room are also a good way to
decorate.
Cake
Decorate the cake with fondant, marzipan or candy
leaves. You can also use larger leaves made from nylon
that can be placed wherever an accent is needed.
Favor Ideas
Flowers
For the men have a simple boutonnière made with a
single large leaf at the base. For the bridesmaids bouquets
consider a leafy base or perhaps a green bouquet, along with pretty
rhinestone picks. The bride's bouquet needs to have a fresh green
feeling to it. Add large green or fall leaves to the base or amidst
the flowers.
