Decorations and Centerpieces

The color schemes of the wedding might be classic cream and black,  tiffany blue and white/ivory/silver or art deco black and white. Purchase replicas of the landmarks and use as centerpieces. You could decorate each table or each centerpiece in the style of the landmark it represents. Get wedding stationery printed with the Manhattan skyline design and if possible the same skyline design would look wonderful as a backdrop.

Your cake will be the center of attraction. Choose a Statue of Liberty cake topper or get it done like a stack of Tiffany boxes.

Manhattan Cocktails and New York Cheesecake are a must for any New York themed wedding. You can also have platters or bowls of Hershey's kisses and/or Oreo on the buffet table. Since it's the 'Big Apple' theme, have some apple themed food as well. Cookies in the shape of a landmark or the NY taxicabs will be a great addition.

'I Love NY' T-Shirts, New York Travel Guides, miniature replicas of NY landmarks, New York Magazine, New York Postcards, Hershey's kisses, NYC key chains and pens, mini Empire State Building paper weights, I Love NY candy bars, matchbox taxicabs, caramel apples (it's the Big Apple after all!) etc. all go great with a New York theme. Or if you are going with the Tiffany blue color, fill Tiffany style boxes with favors.
