6 Months before the Wedding

• Send your out of town guests save the date cards so that they can make travel plans.
• Find and reserve wedding attire for the men in the wedding party.
• Order dresses and accessories for bridesmaids.

5 Months before the Wedding

• Mail information about hotels and city attractions.
• Select flowers and other decorations.
• Finalize dates for bachelor and bachelorette parties.

4 Months before the Wedding

• Finalize the menu with the caterer.
• Order wedding favors.
• Order wine, champagne etc. (if not provided by caterer).
• Find and purchase grooms gift/brides gift.

3 Months before the Wedding

• Finalize flowers.
• Order rings.
• Start working on vows.
• Plan seating arrangements for the reception.

2 Months before the Wedding

• Finish honeymoon plans.
• Mail invitations.
• Do a hair and make up trial run.
• Book appointments for hair and make up for the wedding day.
• Do name change paperwork.
• Select music play list and finalize arrangements with the DJ or musicians.
• Call wedding professionals and make sure everything is on track to be ready and that they have the correct day and times.
• Make plans for a rehearsal dinner.
• Order the wedding cake.
• Schedule first wedding dress fitting.
• Attend wedding shower.

1 Month before the Wedding

• Order rental items such as chairs, tables, tents etc.
• Find bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts.
• Schedule fitting for wedding gown.
• Find accessories such as guest book, ring pillow, flower girl baskets, etc.
• Arrange for transportation for guests coming from out-of-town.
• Submit wedding program to printer.
• Make arrangements for bridesmaid's luncheon.
